Alastair Clark of Nanyuki Builders has been designing and building unique properties in Africa since 1991. Now based in Laikipia, Kenya, his portfolio includes distinctive private residences, safari lodges and beach front retreats, spanning from Maun, Botswana to Lamu and the highlands of Kenya. Alastair and his skilled team of craftspeople combine modern and traditional techniques, and use responsibly sourced local materials, to create highly individual and environmentally sympathetic properties. Nanyuki Builders also undertakes utility provision and associated works, construction management, estate management, management of domestic staff, and security services.
