Alastair Clark of Nanyuki Builders has been designing and building unique properties in Africa since 1991. Based now in the highlands of Laikipia, Kenya, his portfolio includes distinctive private residences, safari lodges and beach front retreats from Maun, Botswana to Lamu, Kenya. We combine modern and traditional techniques and responsibly sourced local materials to create highly individual and environmentally sympathetic properties. He will also undertake utility provision and associated works, construction management, estate management and security services.

- Our construction projects have included building world renowned, wildlife filmmaker Alan Root's residency at Lewa Downs -incorporating unique features such as an interior wall fashioned into an aquarium, created with six-inch armoured glass in the sitting room.
